Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a Construction Paralegal to join a leading non-contentious construction team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension. The role focuses exclusively on non-contentious construction work, supporting complex development and infrastructure matters.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established and highly respected law firm with a strong reputation in the construction and real estate space. Known for its collaborative culture and high-quality work, the firm offers an environment where paralegals gain meaningful responsibility and hands-on experience.
Description
The successful candidate will join the firm’s non-contentious construction team, providing dedicated support across a broad range of development-related matters. The role will involve assisting with document preparation, contract management, coordination of execution processes, and general team support.
Responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing documents, managing documentation via electronic signing platforms, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and handling a variety of organisational and administrative tasks. The role requires attendance in the London office three days per week, with remote working on the remaining days, subject to business needs. All new joiners will be office-based for the initial onboarding period to support training and integration.
This is a full-time position offered on a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential for extension depending on team requirements.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a paralegal within a non-contentious construction team, which is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in commercial real estate or development work will also be considered.
You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and comfortable supporting both legal and administrative workstreams. Familiarity with electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign would be advantageous. Full UK working rights are essential.
Job Offer
The role offers a salary in the range of £30,000 - £35,000 (full-time equivalent) depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. The firm provides a supportive working environment, hybrid working arrangements, and the opportunity to gain exposure within a leading non-contentious construction practice.
