Blossom Lodge Day Nursery is delighted to be recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our Baby Room (0-1 years) on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday.
This role is ideal for a caring, enthusiastic early years professional who is passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive.
About the Role
*Full-time position working 44 hours per week over 4.5 days
*Supporting, developing, and extending children’s play across the EYFS curriculum
*Creating individual learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs
*Building strong, positive relationships with parents and colleagues
*Recording children’s daily activities and progress using our online portal
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
*Kind, calm, and caring with a good sense of humour
*Passionate about early years development
*A confident team player with a flexible approach to working hours
*Empathetic to the needs of young children
Essential requirements:
*Previous experience in a children’s day nursery
*Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to observe, assess, and record children’s progress
*Good IT skills for online learning journals
*Two references required
*Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
