Role: Storage and Server Engineer
Clearance: SC Cleared
Location: Newport OR Portsmouth (Hybrid)
Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6 months
Start Date: June 2026
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong skills in storage, backup, and virtualisation technologies to support a secure enterprise environment. The role will involve maintaining and optimising critical infrastructure services, with a particular focus on storage platforms and backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage and support enterprise storage environments, ensuring availability and performance
*Configure and maintain backup and recovery solutions
*Support virtualisation infrastructure and related storage integration
*Provide general infrastructure support across Windows and Linux server environments
Key Skills & Experience
*NetApp ONTAP / StorageGRID (Volumes, Aggregates, SnapMirror, SnapVault, CIFS/NFS configuration, quotas)
*Veeam Backup & Replication
*Veeam ONE monitoring
*SAN / SAN Fabric technologies
*VMware storage (VMFS, NFS, vVols)
