Job Description:
About the team
Are you a confident driver with a caring nature and a desire to support others? *Hold a valid UK Driving Licence with Category D1 entitlement (typically present on licences issued before 1997 or obtained via an additional driving test). Ensure vehicles are roadworthy by conducting daily and weekly checks.
*Support individuals with and without mobility equipment in and out of vehicles, using tail-lifts and ramps where necessary.
*Our services require supporting individuals with personal care including bathroom support, mobility aids, and dietary needs (training provided). This includes the use of moving and handling equipment, so it’s important that you’re physically capable of performing these tasks safely and effectively.
*Participate in activities with the people we support, both on and off site.
*Perform manual handling tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
