EYFS Teaching Assistant - Preston & South Ribble Are you passionate about the Early Years Foundation Stage? Do you love creating a "learning through play" environment where children can thrive?
We are seeking dedicated and qualified EYFS Teaching Assistants for exciting opportunities starting after the May Half-Term. Whether you are looking for full-time consistency or the flexibility to work around your personal life, we have the perfect role for you in Preston and the surrounding South Ribble area.
The Role & FlexibilityThis position is designed to fit your lifestyle. We have partnerships with a variety of primary schools and nurseries that require support starting in June.
*Start Date: June (Post May Half-Term)
*Pay:£92.56 per day
*Location: Preston (with additional opportunities across South Ribble)
*Hours:1 to 5 days per week (You choose your availability!)
Key Responsibilities*Supporting the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
*Assisting with observations and tracking the development of pupils.
*Creating engaging, messy, and outdoor play-based learning activities.
*Providing a safe, nurturing environment for children at the very start of their educational journey.
What You’ll NeedTo be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
*Qualification: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning.
*Experience: Proven experience working within a Primary School or Private Nursery setting.
*Knowledge: A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
*DBS: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
