The OpportunityWe’re working with a well-established and growing business based in DE24, looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of an Accounts Assistant.

The RoleReporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the finance department, gaining exposure across both purchase and sales ledger, as well as wider accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities*Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
*Supporting sales ledger, invoicing, and credit control activities
*Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
*Bank reconciliations and cash allocation
*Assisting with payment runs
*Supporting month-end close processes
*Handling internal and external finance queries
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant role
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Confident Excel skills
*Experience with accounting systems (Sage, Xero, SAP etc.)
*A proactive and organised approach
*Strong communication skills
