Job Description:
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team on a temporary basis for 5–6 months, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is a great opportunity to support a busy finance function and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a high-volume sales ledger
*Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
*Allocating cash and reconciling accounts
*Resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
*Supporting month-end processes where required
Key Requirements
*Previous experience in a credit control role
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Confident working with accounting systems and Excel
*Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
*Proactive and results-driven approach
Location
Office-based role in Ilkeston, ideally suited to candidates within a 5-mile radius.
Contract Length
5–6 months (temporary) with potential to become permanent
Salary
Competitive, depending on experience
