Our client are looking for a Client Services Engineer based at in Moor Row, West Cumbria on a permanent basis to join their growing support team.
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll provide deskside support for a wide range of IT incidents and service requests. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in keeping users productive by resolving hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.

Key responsibilities:*Providing deskside support for IT incidents and service requests
*Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
*Performing break-fix repairs and delivering quick, effective solutions
*Carrying out IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks
*Managing your own ticket queue to meet SLA and KPI targets
*Keeping ticket records accurate and up to date
*Communicating clearly with users, translating technical issues into simple terms
*Collaborating with wider IT teams and workflow managers
*Supporting ad hoc tasks and project work as required
*Ensuring compliance with security and health & safety policies
Essential Skills & Experience*Previous IT support experience (ideally 2+ years)
*Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
*Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
*Experience diagnosing and repairing desktops and laptops
*Excellent customer service and communication skills
*Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
*Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills*Experience with Active Directory
*Basic server knowledge (smart hands support)
*Network troubleshooting or build experience
*Printer installation and configuration
*Familiarity with VPN and remote working technologies
*Knowledge of Microsoft applications
