Our client are specialists in their industry sector; they are looking to recruit a Multi skilled Maintenance Electrician on a permanent basis.
The job you’ll do
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of extrusion, automation, plant and facilities equipment.
*Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems, including PLCs, control panels, drives, and motors
*Mechanical maintenance tasks including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
*Minimise downtime and ensure plant efficiency.
*Assist in continuous improvement and reliability projects.
*Installation and commissioning of new capital equipment on-site.
*Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S procedures.
*Maintain accurate maintenance records via MMS.
About You
*Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (essential).
*Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills.
*Extensive experience within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
*Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens desirable).
*17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred.
*Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
*Flexible approach to shift work (12-hour shifts including nights).
*Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
*Desire to progress within the organisation.
