We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead a well-established 30-bed elderly care home in Newbury, proudly rated ’Good’ by the CQC.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, maintaining compliance, and driving occupancy in a supportive and stable environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of care professionals
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and ensure continued high standards
Drive and sustain full occupancy levels
Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges
Ensure the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care
Requirements
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly care home
Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance
NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
Must be commutable to Newbury
