Working Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:00–17:00, Fri 8:00–13:00, No weekend work

About the role:
We’re now looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy team. To attract the right person, we’re offering a £2000 welcome bonus, paid in instalments over 3 months. If you’re looking for a fast paced, stable role with the chance to upskill and take on real responsibility, this could be the perfect fit.
Key duties:
*Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults using manuals and schematics
*Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, electrics)
*Using hand and power tools for assembly/disassembly
*Welding and equipment repairs when required
*Performing diagnostics including ADAS and geometry
*Completing pre MOT repairs to VOSA MOT standards
*Mechanical repairs on Ambulance Trust vehicles
*Maintaining a clean, safe, organised workshop
*Working collaboratively to deliver high standards of workmanship and customer care
About you:
*NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification
*Right to work in the UK
*Full clean driving licence
*C1 licence (desirable)
*F gas accreditation (desirable)
*Confident with hand/power tools and diagnostic software
*Ability to interpret schematics and technical information
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*Ability to prioritise workload and work well within a team
*Capability to safely perform heavy lifting when required
