Job Description:
Reconciliation Administrator (Temporary) – Huddersfield
Are you an experienced Administrator with exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical skills? We are recruiting a Temporary Reconciliation Administrator for one of our key clients based in Huddersfield, offering an immediate start and consistent weekday hours.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Contract: Temporary
Location: Huddersfield
This is a crucial administrative role supporting reconciliation, invoicing accuracy and customer data integrity. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will ensure customer deliveries are accurately reconciled to agreed deadlines, enabling correct invoicing and effective stock control.
The position offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with Customer Service, Control Teams and Operations, making it ideal for a proactive administrator who enjoys problem-solving and working with data.
As a Reconciliation Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate processing, investigation and reporting of reconciliation data, ensuring the client can invoice their customers correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
*Accurately reconcile all product deliveries against customer-specific agreed deadlines
*Export completed reconciliation data in line with customer requirements and timelines
*Complete accurate data entry into various audit logs and systems
*Monitor and manage the accounting queries inbox, responding within agreed timeframes
*Investigate missing or incorrect data to ensure reconciliations are completed within deadlines
*Identify anomalies, investigate causes and escalate issues where appropriate
*Assist with balancing stock at agreed periodic intervals
*Compile periodic management information reports when required
*Provide administrative support to the wider Customer Service Administration team
*Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks as requested by the Customer Service Admin Manager, Control Team Leader or Service Operations Manager
*Maintain accurate filing and documentation

Requirements
Essential
*Experience in a similar role/administration
*High level of attention to detail with strong organisational skills
*Excellent numerical and data-handling ability
*Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Excel
*Ability to interpret data, investigate discrepancies and prioritise workloads
*Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a pressurised environment
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
*Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement
