The Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join a busy finance team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial operations of the firm, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and Law Society regulations
*Processing client and office receipts
*Managing disbursements and third-party payments
*Assisting with credit control processes
*Managing client account interest
*Supporting internal and external audits
*Maintaining purchase ledger and processing expenses
*Petty cash management
*Assisting with monthly billing processes
*Handling internal ledger queries
About You
*Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Cashier (or similar role)
*Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Experience with finance systems and Excel
*Proactive, organised, and reliable
