Senior Engineering Geologist - Aberdeen
£40,000 - £50,000
We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground engineering team in Aberdeen, working across a mix of infrastructure, energy and development projects.
This role suits someone who’s confident leading site investigations, managing ground risk, and mentoring junior staff, while still being hands-on technically.
What you’ll be doing:
*Designing and managing ground investigations
*Logging soil and rock to a high standard
*Overseeing site works and subcontractors
*Interpreting ground conditions and producing factual and interpretive reports
*Contributing to foundation and geotechnical design
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members
*Liaising with clients and project teams
What we’re looking for:
*Experience in engineering geology or geotechnical ground investigation
*Strong logging and reporting skills
*Comfortable managing sites and dealing with clients
*Experience in the Scottish ground conditions is a bonus
*Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or similar
