Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Assessor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Field/Site based - Learners are based across Cheshire to Yorkshire

Salary: £38,900 - £41,900 (inclusive of car allowance) - Salary depending on experience and qualifications

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria (for all candidates):
*Must hold solid, occupational competency within Engineering Maintenance.
*Ideally hold an Assessor qualification.
*Must hold own Engineering qualification, ideally at Level 4 or above.
*An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes.
*Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
*Must be flexible with travel.
Duties:
*Assess/mentor learners working towards Apprenticeships in Engineering Maintenance (Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician; Engineering Manufacturing Technician; Engineering Maintenance Technician - dual and single disciplines),
*Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
*Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
*Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
*Support, advise and motivate learners.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Personal Skills:
*Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
*Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
*Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
*Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
