*Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all accounts are up to date.
*Handle queries from suppliers and internal departments effectively.
*Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with company policies.
*Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
*Work closely with the finance team to support month-end closing procedures.
*Identify and resolve discrepancies in a proactive manner.
*Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
*Previous experience in accounts payable
*A good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
