We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Credit Controller who is fluent in Italian to join a high-performing finance team. This role will take ownership of credit control activities across Italian-speaking regions, ensuring timely collection of receivables, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting overall cash flow performance.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 1 day per week on-site at Granta Park, with flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

Key Responsibilities*Manage and reduce aged debt across Italian accounts
*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a key point of contact
*Conduct regular ledger reviews and implement effective collection strategies
*Resolve invoice disputes efficiently in collaboration with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Billing)
*Monitor credit limits and assess customer creditworthiness
*Prepare and present regular reporting on debtor performance and risk exposure
*Support month-end processes, including reconciliations and bad debt provisioning
*Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements

Skills & Experience Required*Proven experience in a senior credit control or accounts receivable role
*Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
*Strong understanding of credit risk management and collections processes
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
*Experience working in an international or multi-currency environment
*Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

Desirable*Experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors
*Familiarity with SAP or similar finance systems
*Previous experience mentoring or supervising team members
