Yard Operative - Counterbalance (Temp to Perm)
£13.57- £14.47 per hour (42 Hours a week, £30-£32K per annum depending on experience)
(07:30 - 17:00) (07:30am - 5pm) Alternating Saturdays
Abingdon, Oxfordshire (RURAL LOCATION YOU MUST DRIVE)

Responsibilities:
• Loading and unloading customer, supplier, and company vehicles
• Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Organising, maintaining, and rotating yard stock
• Assisting customers with collections and basic product queries
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety regulations
• Supporting the branch team with day-to-day operations.

Skills:
• Valid FLT licence (essential)
• Yard, warehouse, or builders merchant experience (preferred)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety
• Self motivated with a positive, can do attitude
• Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of bulky items.
• A proactive attitude with a desire to take on more responsibility and progress.
