Role: FLT Counterbalance Driver (Night Shifts)
Location: Dudley
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 9.40pm to 5.50am and Friday: 5pm to 10.50pm
Pay Rate: £12.71ph (First 12 weeks) increasing to £15.61ph


Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Dudley, an leading manufacturer within the plastics industry. This is a fast-paced role to help support within the warehouse and production teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, ongoing work within a supportive and friendly environment.


Key Responsibilities:
*Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely in line with site procedures.
*Loading and unloading deliveries, including raw materials and finished plastic components.
*Transporting materials between warehouse, storage areas, and production lines.
*Ensuring production lines are consistently stocked to avoid downtime.
*Stacking and storing pallets in designated locations, including racking systems.
*Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects.
*Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries against paperwork.
*Using scanners or basic systems to track stock movements (if applicable).
*Supporting stock control, including pallet counts and location checks.
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
*Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Key Requirements:
*Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
*Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
*Good understanding of health & safety practices.
*Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
*Reliable, punctual, and flexible
