Spa Duty Manager (Part-Time) (3 days a week)
Location: Grays (please note: no public transport access – a driving licence and car are essential)
Salary: From £18,000 per year
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Duty Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment delivering a unique, world-class guest experience.
As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the venue. You will oversee all departments, support front-of-house operations, and ensure a seamless customer journey from arrival to departure. You will also lead and motivate the team, fostering a culture of excellence, care, and professionalism.
Working Hours
*Part-time: 3 days per week (shift-based, Monday–Sunday)
*Full flexibility required as no days are the same.
Shift patterns:
*Early: 7:00am – 4:00pm
*Mid: 8:00am – 5:00pm
*Late: 11:30am – 8:30pm
*Working 2 weekends per month (minimum 1.5 weekends off)

Key Responsibilities
*Oversee daily operations across all departments
*Support front-of-house with reservations and guest services
*Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained
*Handle guest queries and resolve complaints confidently
*Lead, motivate, and support team members
*Maintain smooth operations in the absence of senior management
Skills & Experience
*Strong understanding of the hospitality or lesiure industry
*Previous supervisory or management experience
*Experience in customer-facing roles
*Confident handling complaints and problem-solving
*Good financial awareness
*Excellent organisational and decision-making skills
*Ability to work under pressure
*Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and reservation systems
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
Driving licence and own transport essential due to location.
