We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Ecologist to join a growing environmental consultancy in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an ambitious team working on a diverse range of exciting projects across multiple sectors.


In this role, you’ll be involved in a variety of ecological surveys and assessments, supporting projects that contribute to biodiversity and sustainable development. From preliminary ecological appraisals to protected species surveys and mitigation strategies, you’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding workload where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities:
*Conducting field surveys and ecological assessments
*Supporting projects from initial design stages through to construction
*Producing clear, accurate, and high-quality technical reports
*Collaborating with planners, engineers, and other environmental professionals
*Contributing to the development of practical, nature-positive solutions


What we’re looking for:
*A degree (or equivalent) in Ecology or a related field
*Experience in ecological surveying and report writing (consultancy experience desirable)
*Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and industry best practice
*A proactive attitude with genuine enthusiasm for the natural environment
*A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the team
