Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Paralegal position, to work in the London office of a leading US law firm.
The role will be offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis and will be to support the growing Corporate team.
This fantastic opportunity will see you working in an excellent practice area, partaking in a range of activities including legal research, drafting documents, and liaising with clients. Paralegals at this firm are offered a range of high-quality work and exposure that is second to none.
Typical duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Working with deal terms to assist with the delivery and execution of conditions precedent and KYC.
*Undertaking company searched and completing Companies House filings.
*Opening bank accounts when instructed.
*Preparing signature papers, bibles, and closing checklists.
*Reporting completed transactions.
*Assisting with due diligence administration.
*Preparing draft resolutions.
As such, the firm is looking for a driven Paralegal, with a strong academic background and 18+ months of availability. Suitable applicants will also have ideally gained some prior experience in a corporate paralegal role within a law firm or in-house legal department. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
