Trainee Financial Planning Administrator

Up to £26,000
NJR Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful and growing Financial Planning firm who are looking to recruit a Trainee Financial Planning Administrator to join their supportive team for initially an 18 month period
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career within Financial Services, gaining hands-on experience within a professional wealth management environment with full training and development provided.
The Role
Working as part of an established team, you will provide valuable day-to-day administrative support to advisers and senior colleagues, learning the foundations of the financial planning process.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Answering the telephone professionally and dealing with client enquiries
*Supporting advisers and colleagues with day-to-day administration
*Managing files, retrieving information and updating records
*Inputting data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy
*Preparing correspondence via email and letter
*Filing, scanning and maintaining client documentation
*Meeting and greeting visitors to the office
*Assisting with office organisation and general administrative tasks
*Supporting the wider team as required
About You
*Keen to build a career within Financial Planning / Wealth Management
*Degree level qualified in a finance related (economics/maths etc) or professional services (Law/Business Studies)
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Professional telephone manner and confident communication skills
*Good numeracy and written skills
*Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
*Reliable, punctual and professional approach
