Skills Trainer Assessor - Early Years
We are currently supporting a fantastic organisation looking to appoint a Skills Trainer Assessor in Early Years to join their dedicated and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about developing learners in both educational and workplace settings, supporting apprentices and students to achieve their full potential.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing a caseload of Early Years learners, including apprentices and work-based students
Delivering high-quality assessments in line with qualification and apprenticeship standards
Conducting observations, professional discussions, and progress reviews
Providing coaching, mentoring, and pastoral support to learners
Working closely with employers to support learner development and achievement
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with awarding body and funding requirements
Supporting learners to successfully complete their qualifications and end-point assessments
Contributing to quality assurance processes and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area (minimum)
Assessment & Quality Assurance qualification (or willingness to work towards)
Recent experience in Early Years and/or assessing in education or work-based settings
Strong organisational, communication, and mentoring skills
Knowledge of apprenticeships and work-based learning programmes
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusive practice
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence / ability to travel for work
