Business Support Administrator (Part-Time)


Most back-office roles are treated as support functions. This one isn’t.


At MoveATech, the back office is the engine room. It’s where accuracy is enforced, risk is managed, and the commercial operation is kept moving at pace. When it works well, the business scales. When it doesn’t, everything slows down. We’re hiring a part-time Business Support Administrator to strengthen that engine.


The Business
MoveATech operates in technical recruitment across construction, engineering, and automation. The environments we work in are complex, high-pressure, and time-sensitive. Clients don’t just need people, they need the right people, deployed correctly, paid accurately, and compliant at every stage.
That only happens with strong internal infrastructure. Our Edgbaston, Birmingham HQ is the operational centre, bringing together recruitment, operations, and business support into one coordinated team of around 30.


The Role
This is not a "general admin" position. It’s a precision role. You’ll sit inside the back-office function, working across timesheets, payroll inputs, compliance, and financial checks. The output of your work directly impacts cash flow, client relationships, and contractor experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
*Timesheets & Payroll Inputs. Processing timesheets for an international temporary workforce. Validating hours, pay rates, and expenses across multiple currencies
*Handling variables such as per diems, travel, and accommodation
*Uploading clean data into systems for payroll and invoicing, and Investigating discrepancies and resolving them quickly
*Client Credit & Risk Monitoring. Running credit checks on new and existing clients
*Reviewing financial data and spotting patterns
*Flagging risk early and clearly
*Contracts & Data Management. Preparing contracts for temporary placements. Ensuring all key details are accurate and consistent
*Maintaining audit-ready documentation. Compliance & Governance
*Following internal processes without shortcuts. Supporting audits and ensuring everything stands up to scrutiny
*General Support. Handling day-to-day admin across the business
*Managing data, documentation, and internal queries

Experience helps, but mindset matters more. Useful background (not essential):
*Administration
*Recruitment, payroll, or finance environments ideal, but not essential
*Timesheet processing or credit control


Working Pattern
*2–3 days per week. Flexibility on how those days are structured
*Scope for additional hours depending on workload
