With continued expansion through both organic growth and acquisitions, the business is evolving its People function to support this journey.


We’re delighted to be supporting them again as they continue to build out their HR capability and look to appoint a Payroll & Compensation Specialist. A newly created role that will play a key part in shaping and strengthening payroll and reward practices across the Group.


This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a broad, impactful role where you’ll not only oversee payroll operations but also contribute to the development of a more structured and scalable compensation framework.


What You’ll Do:


Payroll Operations
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing in partnership with an outsourced provider
* Validate and process commission payments in line with agreed structures
* Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries, resolving issues accurately and efficiently
* Maintain payroll data and records in line with data protection requirements
* Support the integration of payroll processes across newly acquired businesses
* Coordinate payroll data migration from legacy systems into central systems


Compensation & Reward
* Support the administration of salary reviews, bonus schemes, and commission structures
* Contribute to the development and rollout of a group wide reward and compensation framework
* Support job grading, benchmarking, and market analysis activities
* Assist with annual pay and bonus review cycles
* Provide data driven insights to support decision making


Compliance & Governance
* Ensure payroll and compensation processes remain compliant with relevant legislation
* Support the alignment of controls, approvals, and governance across the Group
* Assist with internal and external audits
* Maintain clear and consistent documentation of policies and procedures


Reporting & Insights
* Produce regular and ad hoc payroll and reward reports
* Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
* Support budgeting and forecasting for people costs
* Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR and payroll data


What You’ll Bring:
* Proven experience in payroll and/or compensation roles
* Strong systems experience across HR and payroll platforms
* Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
* High attention to detail and strong numerical skills
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment
