The role of the Junior Estimator – Design & Build will involve:
*Junior Estimator position promoting a manufactured range of commercial and residential design & build projects
*Support the Managing Director with the preparation and submission of tenders for commercial and residential design & build projects
*Assist in reviewing project requirements, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate understanding of scope
*Help produce detailed cost estimates aligned with client requirements
*Liaise with internal teams to gather information and ensure deadlines are met
*Attend project handover meetings to build understanding of live projects and processes
*Assist with variations, project valuations, and tracking work in progress for client submissions
The ideal applicant will be an Junior Estimator – Design & Build with:
*Must have a related degree within the construction industry
*Ideal for a candidate who’s looking to step and grow into an Estimator role
*Ideally been had technical experience within a subcontractor
*Highly advantageous to have Estimating experience
*Good communication skills both written and verbal
*Logical thinker with excellent numeracy skills
*Robust, positive outlook and team player
