Robertson Bell is working with a growing charity to recruit a Finance Manager.This is a pivotal finance position combining technical accounting expertise with strategic business partnering.
You’ll manage the complete accounting function, statutory accounts, management accounts, month-end close, and year-end reporting. The role also acts as a trusted financial advisor to 20-25 budget holders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Produce and oversee statutory and management accounts
*Lead auditor relationships and manage audit queries
*Conduct monthly budget reviews with stakeholders, explaining results and supporting KPI achievement
*Set budgets and provide ongoing financial guidance
*Guide and support the accounting team (3 people)
*Translate complex financial information for non-finance colleagues
The successful candidate will have:
*Strong business partnering experience
*Statutory accounts experience
*Be a Qualified accountant (or nearly qualified)
*Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
*Technical accounting knowledge
