Job Description:
We’ve got a brilliant role for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our client on a fantastic commercial property based in Liverpool Street! The successful candidate for this role will also be provided High Voltage training and given Authorised Person status (HVAP). This is a great role if you’re looking to further expand your lead experience for a highly reputable company.
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you oversee a small team of M&E engineers, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, trouble shoot / diagnose faults, provide technical support, update site logbooks, oversee RAMs / Permits and ensure all compliance duties are carried out.
This role will follow a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:00)
Lead Electrical Engineer Duties:
*Oversee day-to-day engineering operations on site
*Lead and support a team of maintenance engineers
*Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance
*Single & Three Phase Power
*UPS Systems
*Generators (on/off load tests)
*LV switching & shutdowns
*Emergency lighting & fire alarms
*AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, pumps, motors, belts & bearings
*Ensure safe isolation of plant and systems in line with procedures
*Manage subcontractors on site
*Ensure all works are completed to compliance and safety standards
*Produce reports, complete logbooks and RAMS
*Issue and manage permits to work
*Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders
*Use PDA systems to raise and close jobs
Requirements
*City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
*Strong electrical bias with good all-round building services knowledge
*Proven experience leading or supervising an engineering team
*Background in commercial building maintenance
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Career-driven and proactive approach
Salary and Package:
*£52,000 per annum
*4 on / 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:00)
*High Voltage Training + AP Status
*20 days annual leave
*Company pension scheme
*Overtime available
*Internal progression
