Square Peg Associates are working on behalf of a small and busy business based in Ramsbottom (in between Rawtenstall and Bury). The company is looking for a Temporary Customer Service Administrator to provide holiday cover for approximately 2 weeks.
The role involves vast liaison with customers, booking appointments onto the in-house system, providing a basic quote and answering any queries.
Days: Monday to Friday
Times: 9.00am – 4.00pm
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour
Duration: Temporary – approx. 2 weeks
Start: Immediate
Parking: Free Parking
The Role:
*Responsible for the answering of the telephones, taking detailed information about the services that the customer requires
*Sending a basic price, based on the customer needs
*Uploading customer data, conversation history and query details onto the in-house system
*Triaging customer queries and place in priority order (which is most urgent in terms of need)
*Co-ordinate work / jobs with site engineers / liaise with site workers
*Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
*Provide general administrative support
Candidate Essentials:
*You will have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
*You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic.
*You must have previous experience within an office environment.
*Strong administrative skills with good IT knowledge - mainly MS Word & Excel
*Must be available to start on Tuesday 2nd May 2026
*Must live in close proximity to Ramsbottom. Car owner preferred due to location.
