Maths Teacher
Grade/Salary: Teachers Main/Upper Scale (Inner London) + SEN Allowance
Hours: Full-Time – 1FTE
Required: September 2026
Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months (until 31st August 2027)

An innovative, enthusiastic and inspirational Maths Teacher is required to work with students with visual and/or other sensory needs. The teacher will have responsibility for teaching maths both in classes and for accreditations; both in small groups and one-to-one.
You will ensure that the needs of each individual pupil are met in accordance with the aims of the SEND setting. This will involve ongoing, close liaison with parents/carers, colleagues, therapists and other professionals.
The teacher will be expected to:
* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
* Promote good progress and outcomes
* Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
* Plan and teach well-structured lessons
* Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
* Make accurate and productive use of assessment through Engagement Model, Routes for Learning and use of Earwig
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
* Fulfil wider professional responsibilities as required
