Handyman
Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay: £18–£20 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
REED is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established school in the St Neots area to recruit a Full-Time Handyman to join their site and facilities team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a practical, reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for staff and students.
The Role:
*Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
*Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks
*Responding to day-to-day maintenance issues as they arise
*Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, and well maintained
*Assisting with room setups, moving furniture, and ad-hoc site duties
*Working closely with the site manager and wider school team
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience in a handyman, caretaker, or maintenance role
*Good all-round practical and DIY skills
*Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively
*Reliable, punctual, and proactive
*Happy working in a school environment
What’s on Offer:
*Competitive hourly rate of £18–£20 per hour
*Stable, full-time hours (no weekends)
