Teacher of GeographyFull-Time | PermanentStart Date: September 2026Location: Salford
We are inviting applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join our vibrant Humanities department from September 2026. This full-time position is open to both early career teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
Role OverviewThe successful candidate will:
*Deliver inspiring Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching opportunities for suitable candidates
*Plan and implement engaging, high-quality lessons that foster a passion for Geography
*Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing effective support to enhance learning outcomes
*Contribute proactively to curriculum development and extracurricular enrichment activities
*Collaborate within a supportive, dedicated department to promote continuous improvement
We seek a candidate who:
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is on track to achieve it by September 2026
*Possesses strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for Geography
*Is committed to raising achievement through inclusive and differentiated teaching
*Demonstrates excellent classroom management and effective communication skills
*Is reflective, proactive, and eager to contribute positively to the wider school community
