Job Description:
Multi-Skilled Engineer
3-6 month contract | Full-time (37.5 hours) | London | £21.28 per hour
An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a large, complex healthcare estate in London. This is a hands-on role within an established Estates & Facilities team, supporting the safe, compliant and efficient operation of critical buildings and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out maintenance, repair and minor installation works
*Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across the estate
*Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs), British Standards and internal procedures
*Accurately record all work via a CAFM system, using mobile/handheld devices where required
*Communicate professionally with clinical teams, colleagues, contractors and stakeholders
*Contribute to audits, inspections and continuous service improvement initiatives
*Operate as a genuinely multi-skilled technician, supporting tasks when required
Essential:
*Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing
*Experience using CAFM systems for maintenance delivery
*Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*NHS or healthcare experience is very desirable
