Assistant Financial Controller

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Financial Controller to join our growing finance team. This is a key role supporting the Finance Director and contributing to a newly formed Senior Leadership Team, offering real influence and progression in a fast-paced business.

What you’ll be doing:
*Managing day-to-day finance operations (AP/AR, reconciliations, payment runs)
*Credit control and customer/supplier account management
*Supporting monthly reporting and financial analysis
*Maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls
*Liaising across teams to resolve queries and improve processes
*Mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic discussions
What we’re looking for:
*5+ years’ finance experience (with some supervisory exposure)
*Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
*Confident with Excel and finance systems
*Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
*Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Desirable:
*Industry experience and commercial awareness
