Overview and Opportunity


We are supporting a growing Accountancy Firm based with the appointment of Corporate Tax Senior Manager.


Role Responsibilities
*Lead client service delivery, managing complex tax compliance and advisory assignments.
*Build strong client relationships, understand their business and priorities, and proactively offer support.
*Identify opportunities for business growth and promote specialist services to clients and professional networks.
*Respond to client queries independently and tailor services to meet their needs.
*Stay updated on legislative and industry changes, advising clients and colleagues as required.
*Lead tax engagements, managing the entire service delivery and coordinating across service lines.
*Ensure high-quality work, balancing risk, efficiency, and ethical considerations.
*Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering team engagement and morale.
*Allocate resources effectively, monitor performance, and manage formal support or performance plans as required.
*Promote collaboration across teams, encourage innovation, and implement new technologies to improve efficiency.
*Make informed, confident decisions within remit, considering impacts and consequences.
*Challenge existing processes and implement improvements to workflows, fees, and service delivery.
*Encourage ideas from team members to enhance efficiency and quality.
Candidate Requirements
*Previous experience in Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role, within a practice environment
*CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
*Experience of dealing with clients across multiple industries would be advantageous as this is in line with the firm’s current client list
*Strong technical skills and the ability to carry out research
