CMA Recruitment Group are recruiting for an ambitious finance professional seeking a leadership role in a growing organisation. Our client, a niche manufacturing company in Petersfield, Hampshire is looking for a talented Finance Manager to join their team.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
· Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed reporting and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making
· Managing the end-to-end month-end process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
· Overseeing cash flow and working capital management through forecasting and monitoring daily positions
· Supervising transactional finance activities such as purchase and sales ledger processes, reconciliation, and supplier payments
· Supporting compliance, payroll, and statutory reporting requirements, including VAT, PAYE, and other HMRC obligations
· Continuously improving finance processes and internal controls to maximise efficiency and accuracy, driving financial integrity across the business
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
· Hold a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
· Demonstrate strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
· Have exposure to manufacturing or industrial sectors, with an understanding of their specific financial nuances
· Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support operational teams
· Show a proactive approach to process improvement and systems optimisation
Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Manager:
· Competitive salary between £55,000 and £65,000, dependent on experience.
*The role will be office based as a result of the interaction required with the wider business to undertake the role successfully.
