Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an R&D Electrochemical Scientist to join multidisciplinary R&D and engineering teams based in the South of the UK.
Key Responsibilities
*Design and develop research experiments to optimise electrochemical processes
*Conduct experiments using existing electrochemical testing setups
*Maintain and improve experimental systems and testing procedures
*Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on the development of full-scale industrial processes
*Develop experimental protocols for the characterisation of electrochemical properties
*Analyse and interpret large datasets to support research outcomes
Qualifications and Experience
*MSc or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
*3–4 years’ experience in an electrochemical research or engineering environment
*Strong theoretical background in electrochemistry, with proven data analysis and modelling skills
*Experience with materials characterisation and electrochemical cell setup
*Ability to independently plan, execute, and manage research programmes
