Pertemps are currently recruiting 7.5T Drivers to join our client’s Street Cleaning Team in Edinburgh. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support environmental services by collecting bulky household items and helping keep local communities clean and safe.

Location: EH16 4TB
Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off – 06:00 to 17:02 (45-minute break)
Pay: £14.51 – £16.23 per hour
Duration: Temporary – ongoing work

The 7.5T driver will:*Driving a 7.5-ton vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service
*Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.)
*Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from properties
*Following planned routes and schedules efficiently
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
*Interacting with the public professionally when required
*Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times
*Street cleansing duties are required. Such as, litter picking, sweeping, removing weeds and leaves etc

The 7.5T driver requires:
*Valid UK driving licence with C1 category
*CPC qualification card and Tacho card
*Experience operating larger vehicles
*Good health & safety awareness
*Team player with good communication skills
*Physical fitness – regular lifting and manual handling is part of the role
