A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a high-performing global finance team in a top law firm based in London. You’ll be part of a collaborative, international finance community focused on driving efficiency, adding value, and supporting sustainable growth.
Responsibilities as the Financial Accountant -
You will play a key part in statutory reporting, year-end processes, intercompany accounting, cashflow support, and financial data integrity across a multi-entity, international structure.
Year-End & Statutory Accounting
*Lead the production and approval of UK statutory reporting, including:
*Preparation of Consolidated Group LLP financial statements, subsidiary accounts (LLP and Limited Company), and dormant accounts.
*Produce year-end reporting packs for completion by international offices.
*Reconcile members’ interest calculations to support the Statement of Changes in Members’ Interests.
*Prepare internal documentation to support finalisation of financial statements.
*Support the Group Accountant with the year-end audit, including planning, timetabling, and auditor liaison.
Year-End Close Support
*Support finalisation of management accounts profit, including:
*Global WIP valuation, global recharge processes, management charge processes, loan interest calculations, and adjustments for tax, accruals, prepayments, and dilapidations.
*Support statutory profit finalisation through global debt valuation, holiday pay accruals, bank account revaluations, and intercompany reconciliations.
*Maintain a reconciliation between management and statutory profit.
Intercompany Accounting
*Prepare month-end intercompany reconciliations and support finance managers with corrections.
*Complete the month-end intercompany netting process and produce related invoicing.
*Assist with international finance manager queries relating to netting.
Cashflow & Treasury
*Support monthly compilation of global cashflow reporting.
*Work with international finance teams to gather and validate data.
*Assist the treasury team with cashflow calculations to support the CFO.
Data Integrity & Reporting
*Support financial systems data integrity and global/local reporting requirements.
*Maintain and develop processes to reconcile data across multiple financial information sources.
*Collaborate with reporting teams to enhance reporting outputs.


What You’ll Bring as the Financial Accountant -
*Fully qualified ACA or ACCA (or internationally recognised equivalent).
*Strong technical accounting background, ideally from an accountancy practice.
*Knowledge of FRS 102, particularly lease accounting and revenue recognition.
*Experience with Aderant and SQL is advantageous.
*Excellent Excel skills.
*High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
*A collaborative, flexible, team-focused mindset.
