Junior Paraplanner – Sunderland (Hybrid)Salary: £30,000–£36,000 Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the Sunderland office, remaining days from home Firm Type: Modern, growing, client-centric financial planning firm

You’ll work closely with advisers, have a voice in client outcomes, and be given the structure, support and time to grow.
What you’ll be doingYou’ll sit at the heart of the advice process, supporting advisers and senior paraplanners across a broad range of cases. Typical responsibilities include:
*Research & analysis on pensions, investments, protection and tax-efficient strategies
*Assisting with and gradually taking ownership of suitability report drafting
*Preparing cashflow modelling inputs and helping interpret outputs for client recommendations
*Gathering and analysing information from providers and platforms
*Preparing client review packs, summaries and meeting notes
*Ensuring all advice and documentation is compliant and accurately recorded
*Supporting advisers before and after client meetings with key information and follow-up actions
*Contributing ideas to improve processes, templates and client experience
You’ll start with strong support and gradually take on more complex work as your confidence and technical knowledge grow.
Development, exams & progressionThis firm is serious about developing paraplanners and offers:
*Full exam funding towards the Level 4 Diploma (and beyond if you wish)
*Paid study leave and access to study materials
*Regular 1:1 time with Senior/Chartered Paraplanners
*Exposure to more complex planning areas as you progress (IHT, trusts, business owners, HNW)
*A clear pathway from Junior Paraplanner Paraplanner Senior Paraplanner

If you’ve started your Diploma or completed some R0 exams, that’s a strong advantage, but not essential if your experience is solid.
