The Opportunity
We’re looking for a commercially minded and proactive Commercial Manager / Buyer to join a well-established and growing organisation within the foodservice sector.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you’ll take ownership of supplier relationships, product sourcing, commercial performance, and promotional activity—playing a key part in driving business growth and enhancing product offerings.

What You’ll Be Doing
*Building and managing strong relationships with suppliers, including negotiating competitive terms
*Sourcing new and innovative products aligned with market trends and customer needs
*Leading the development of own-label product ranges
*Analysing sales performance to identify opportunities for growth and margin improvement
*Managing and executing promotional activity to drive sales
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date pricing
*Coordinating marketing activity and producing regular communications
*Attending buying meetings and contributing to commercial strategy
*Visiting suppliers and customers to strengthen partnerships (approx. 25% travel)
*Ensuring product quality through sampling and supplier collaboration


What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in a Buyer or Commercial role, ideally within foodservice
*Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
*Commercially aware, with the ability to interpret and act on sales data
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
*Experience within the foodservice sector (3+ years preferred)
*Experience managing own-label or private label products
