Engineering Geologist
Exeter
£32,000 - £37,000
A specialist ground investigation consultancy in Exeter is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to support a growing workload across the South West.
The company delivers a mix of geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, with particular expertise in ground investigations, coal mining risk assessments, and slope stability analysis. Their work spans residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
The role:
*Planning and supervising ground investigations
*Logging soils and rock to current standards
*Overseeing site works and subcontractors
*Producing factual and interpretative reports
*Supporting coal mining risk and slope stability assessments
*Liaising with clients and project teams
Requirements:
*Experience in ground investigation or engineering geology
*Strong logging and reporting skills
*Good understanding of geotechnical and geoenvironmental principles
*Experience with coal mining risk or slope stability (desirable)
*Full UK driving licence
*Live within a commutable distance from the Exeter office
