Secondary Teaching Assistants - Bromborough, Wirral
We are recruiting for dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools in the Bromborough (CH62 & CH63) area. If you have a passion for helping young people succeed, we want to hear from you!
We offer both day to day and long term supply with a competitive salary.
Key Skills & Experience:
*Previous work in childcare, schools, youth coaching, or community volunteering is preferred.
*Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
*A genuine desire to help teenagers grow academically and socially.
Key Duties:
*Preparing the classroom and setting up learning materials before the bell.
*Delivering 1-to-1 support to keep students motivated and on-task.
*Explaining complex tasks in simpler ways to help students understand.
*Encouraging positive behaviour and focus during independent study.
*Recording student attendance and progress in the digital school log.
*Supervising students during break times and lesson changeovers.
*Helping the Teacher with classroom displays and essential admin tasks.
*Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for everyone.
