Job Description:
Business Development Manager
*Our clients are looking a motivated BDM to grow our event sponsorship portfolio, Awards and Research. You’ll build pipeline, secure meetings, qualify opportunities, and support proposals to close deals. Ideal for a driven individual with 3–5 years’ B2B sales experience looking to accelerate their career in media and events.
*Basic salary £50k-55k OTE £85k - £100k
*Hybrid working 3 days in the office

Business Development Manager
*Research and identify potential sponsors and clients across relevant industries.
*Drive outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to secure meetings with senior decision-makers.
*Sell a range of solutions including event sponsorships, research-led products (insight reports, webinars), and advertising campaigns.
*Conduct discovery calls to understand client objectives, timelines, and budgets, ensuring a clear next step from every conversation.
*Build and maintain strong client and sponsor relationships before, during, and after campaigns and events.
*Prepare high-quality sales materials, proposals, and partnership documentation (c.5 proposals per week).
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including contacts, activity, pipeline stages, and next steps.
*Collaborate with marketing and events teams to ensure all deliverables are executed effectively.
*Support on-site sponsor engagement and event-day operations as required.
Business Development Manager
*3–5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (events, media, or SaaS preferred).
*Experience in outbound prospecting.
*Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders—emails, calls, and presentations.
*Strong organisation and time management skills; ability to prioritise accounts and maintain a meticulous CRM.
*Coachable, curious, and resilient with a hunter mindset.
*Comfortable handling objections and confirming next steps on every interaction.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; CRM experience a plus.
*Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Teams.
*Experience working in financial industry.
