We’re looking for an experienced Transport Planner Supervisor to lead our transport planning team and support the smooth day-to-day running of our transport operation.
Key Responsibilities
*Supervise a team of transport planners and manage daily workloads
*Plan and manage vehicle routes to meet delivery and service targets
*Act as a point of escalation for operational issues and last-minute changes
*Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company procedures
*Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers
*Monitor performance, KPIs, and cost efficiency
*Use transport systems to plan, track, and report on activity
About You
*Experience in transport planning or logistics operations
*Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
*Good knowledge of transport compliance and drivers’ hours
*Strong communication and problem-solving skills
*Able to work calmly in a fast-paced environment
*Confident using transport management systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable
*CPC qualification or willingness to work towards it
