Registered Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Liverpool Salary:£50,000+ per annum (DOE)
Contract: Fixed-term (6-9 months)
Start Date: 1 July 2026 Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00 or 9:00-17:00
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established 40-bed residential care home supporting adult residents, including those living with dementia. This maternity cover role is ideal for a confident leader who can maintain high standards of care, compliance, and team performance within a supportive and stable environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation
*Provide strong, visible leadership to the care team
*Maintain and enhance high standards of person-centred care
*Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and resident wellbeing
*Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and performance
*Maintain occupancy levels and support the admissions process
*Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
*Monitor budgets and ensure efficient use of resources
*Promote a positive, homely, and respectful environment
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager ready to step up
*Proven experience within an adult residential care home
*Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
*NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
*Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
*Ability to manage a medium-sized service (approx. 40 beds)
*Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
