Finance Manager
Sheffield | Hybrid Working | Up to £60,000 + Benefits
Reed Finance is delighted to be partnering with a Sheffield-based organisation to recruit a Finance Manager to join their growing team.
This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive finance professional who enjoys being close to the detail and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while also delivering insightful reporting to senior stakeholders using large data sets.
Key Responsibilities
*Full ownership of monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet
*Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
*Ensure ongoing compliance in line with industry and regulatory requirements
*VAT and tax compliance, including VAT returns, PAYE and pension submissions
*Produce management reporting, including variance analysis
*Cashflow management and forecasting
*Manage the full transactional finance process, including supplier invoices, statement reconciliations and billing
About You
*Proven experience in a senior or stand-alone finance role
*Strong working knowledge of Xero
*Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience)
*Solid understanding of UK tax and VAT regulations
*A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong stakeholder management skills
