The Company
Assistant Accountant - Growing Business - Career Progression
An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing multi-business organisation. You’ll support management accounting, financial control, and reporting across several business units, working closely with both finance and operational teams.
This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed their AAT or has starter their ACCA/CIMA and looking to progress further
The Role
The Assistant Accountant’s duties will include:
*Assist with monthly management accounts and reconciliations
*Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
*Manage creditors and debtors, resolving queries and discrepancies
*Monitor costs, cash flow and operational performance
*Support year-end processes, audits and stock counts
*Maintain fixed assets and support project margin reporting
*Process intercompany recharges and financial schedules
The Person
The requirements for the Assistant Accountant role are:
*AAT Qualified or studying towards your ACCA/CIMA
*Experience in a previous role
*Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
*Organised, proactive and analytical
*Confident communicator with finance and non-finance teams
*Keen to develop and progress your finance career
