Job Description:
Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a motivated Production Operative to join our team in Welwyn Garden City. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient production processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.
The successful candidate will be involved in operating machinery, assembling components, checking product quality, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. We welcome individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities*Operate production equipment safely and accurately following company procedures.
*Assemble products to the required standard.
*Perform regular quality inspections to ensure product specifications are met.
*Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
*Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
*Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
*Report any production issues or equipment faults promptly.
Requirements
*Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is advantageous.
*Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment.
*Strong attention to detail and quality focused.
*Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
*Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
*Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

*Temp-to-perm opportunity £14 per hour with a pay increase after 3 months
*Full-time hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
